Feeling Blue

Taken with the lightleaked Asiana a couple of years ago before I discovered the source of the lightleak, this Ferris Wheel seemingly rises out of the depths of a mysterious blue ocean...or not ;-)> I should take out the now (hopefully) light-proofed Asiana for a bit of a spin, but I haven't being doing much of anything the last few weeks, except finishing off kitchen renovations and then being struck down by some type of upper respiratory malady. *cough* ...excuse me.

Thanks all, sometimes a bit (or a lot) of lightleak really does add to a composition, I guess this was one of those times judging from your reactions!

I have to say, I love abstract images of color sometimes more than anything else. This is beautiful. It reminds me of a Rothko painting.

oh, dear. maybe you should wear a mask while making those repairs, cameron? just a suggestion :-) i love the photo and i'm certainly not a fan of lightleaks on my shots... but it worked perfect for you!

Sherry, thank you, I'm glad you like this one, and thanks for the comparison to Rothko's work is very flattering!
Thanks Angie, I try to avoid lightleaks, but this one did do it's magic! Re: wearing the mask ~ you're right! I actually forgot to pop the mask on when I was doing some wood routing and nearly choked on all the fine wood particles, I'm sure that didn't help things!
