Tulip

May 14, 2007

Not much to say tonight as I'm too tired after a long day to really think, let alone speak coherently, I'll just let the beauty of nature speak for itself.
An extended exposure of approximately 7 minutes under artificial light (bedside lamp) achieved this result using Polaroid 84 packfilm in the Holga Pinhole camera.

Wonderful shot Cameron...so now I really want a pinhole! I'm wondering if any of the drugs suggested above would help me??

Thanks Phil and Louise. I really love the soft dreamy look this camea gives to some of the shots I've taken with it.
I should probably explain that there was a spam comment above Phil's, predictably selling drugs that I've never heard of (and I'm a nurse!) ...I mean what the hell is phertamine? (or whatever it is) ...so no, Phil has not lost the plot!
Louise, thanks but sorry, this one's not for sale, but if you have the time check out my tute on how to make a pinhole polaoid here: making a pinhole polaroid. There's lots of online resources at sites like ƒ295 also that offer lots of pinhole camera plans, help and advice. Good luck and let me know if I can help!

This is so lovely and soft. I love the look of Polaroid film in closeup shots - the textures are wonderful.

Wonderful shot, Cameron. Hmm, maybe I should try my Polaroid back on my PinHolga. :)

One of the best yet- This would make a great large-seized pigment print.
