The Mouse and the Lion

March 19, 2008

I have a new camera, a Seagull Twin Lens Reflex - it doesn't have a plastic lens and it's not really a toy camera, but it's square format and quite nice, so I thought it was about time I added another category for the archives! This shot is from some wonderful sand sculptures that have been on display at Frankston, a Melbourne seaside suburb, this one illustrating one of Aesop's fables.

Camera: Seagull TLR   Film: Konica CT 100-S

i love the sheer skill of the artists...but i would hate to see my work fall to bits so quickly personally! this is a great shot.

I've got one of those Seagulls. nice camera. How come when I try to make even a sand castle it slumps down?

Now that is a sandcaastle. I am with trotsky, I sure can appreciate this but would hate such effort to be so disposable.
