Domestic Backyard Scene with Dog

October 20, 2007

stereophotogeek
This cheerful photo is one half of a stereo pair of my wonderful but slightly crazy family, with a relatively new addition (foisted upon me against my will by the females in the family who desperately wanted a dog)
This image is taken with the Sputnik camera made by the famous LOMO company of Russia, an amazingly quirky camera if ever there was one.
If you have 3D glasses (see geek at right) then you can view a 3D version (that is a link) of this image.

Camera: Sputnik, Film: Fuji Provia 100F negative transparency

* by the way boys and girls!! Today (20th October 2007) is World Toy Camera Day, so if you've got one, take some photos with it!

I like this photo a lot. It's a sweet portrait. And I love the busyness of the kids in the background.

My dad was in the same position a few years back when my sister and mom wanted a dog. He said, "It's me or the dog." Now he's absolutely CRAZY about her.

Oh! I love it! What a beautiful family portrait. And that doggie is so sweet. But, as you know, I'm already mad about dogs..

Nice feeling knowing that summer is around the corner...
Though I realize you've got some major decisions to work on.

Will you be using your vacation time to relax with your family a bit?
Take good care of yourself, Cam!
Cheers, Amy
