Girl with Paper Plane

August 10, 2007

This one is the first photo I took with my new Sputnik camera. Of course this is only half of the story, or rather photograph, as the Sputnik is a medium format STEREO camera. stereophotogeek Yes it's one of my latest divergences in my pursuit of weird and wonderful photography. I will discuss stereo photography and in particular the Sputnik in the words part of the blog later, and the different ways to get the whole three-dimensional image experience across on a web-page, but it's after midnight now, so that will have to wait until tomorrow (or even later).

In the meantime, if you have any 3-D glasses hanging around the place (you know, the red and cyan/blue type) pop 'em on and see this image in the way it was meant to be seen, as captured by the Sputnik.

Thanks heaps Lisa, I'm hoping there's some people out there with stereo glasses so they can let me know if the 3-D version works OK for them!
