Thank you (also most excellent) Angie! The skull-headed walking staff is just one of many Des has in his collection (someone told me he has over 20 staffs) I know I've seen him with a few different ones to this, but I was glad Des had this one on that day. It sort of looks good all shiny ther in the lower right corner of the composition!
