Baa Baa Blackface Sheep

July 16, 2007

Today I am at work...again. It is the last few minutes before I am due to start my shift so I will make this brief. These are some sheep. I helped a family friend out working one day as a roustabout for them whilst their small flock were shorn. That was quite a bit of fun and a refreshing change from nursing, despite the fact that it can be quite messy and smelly...then again, nursing can be like that too.

Again, a honorable shot.

the one up front seems to be relishing his moment of fame; posing very elegantly (for a sheep)!

Thank you both zora and trotsky. I love blackface sheep, I'm not sure why, they just seem to have that extra cuteness factor (for sheep that is) perhaps that's why aardman used them in "A Close Shave"...
Interesting to note that these guys fleece is not very valuable in todays market, not even enough to cover the cost of the shearing.

I love what the polaroid has done to these guys Cameron...it seems to have softened them up even more...wonderful stuff.
