Shadow of the Leaves

April 10, 2007

...rest lightly on the face of Buddha.

(Wow, that was profound) ;-)>

I'm fairly sure* that this was taken with the Empire Junior using the same Polaroid close-up filter I have used stuck to its lens before. The reason I'm not completely sure is because some of my B & W negatives were mixed up together, both Fujipet and Empire Junior. I'm pretty sure that I have not tried the close-up filter with the Fujipet however. Not that it matters really, except for assigning this particular image to the appropriate camera (I get a bit particular about things like that)

*NB ~ with Angie's bet (see first comment below) and in hindsight, looking at the shape of the mask (the unique border each toy camera gives it's exposures) it now appears obvious to me that it was the Fujipet. Also there is no vignetting as is visible in the Empire plus close-up compositions. Looks like I have used that close-up filter on the 'pet!
Angie, you're a genius!
