EP 1/97

July 23, 2007

More metal minimalism, this time a selection from my mind's viewfinder on the side of a railway trolley car, quietly sitting at the sidings at the Emerald station on the PuffingBilly line. I was drawn to the line of rivets, the shadow and the crisp white stenciled alpha-numerics against the background patina of green paint and rust.

Camera: Diana 151, Film: Fuji Pro 400H

Thanks Alex, Trotsky and Garrison, glad you like this one. I found it interesting how my Diana seems to blur centrally and be really crisp on the edges now...I'm sure it didn't focus like that previously. I swear these cameras have minds of their own, in a weird plastic kind of way!

Thanks Angie, I think so too, I love anything that rusts and shows signs of entropy!
