Girl with Sky and Fountain

The fountain was not running for some reason, not because of water restrictions because I presume it would simply get it's water from the wading pool it was plonked in the middle of. Perhaps the pump was kaput. This shot was taken at a sort-of local pool on a very hot day with a storm brewing. I was trying out my new Diana and my nutty eldest was making all these funny faces and poses.
I liked the way the dramatic clouds look in this one.

What a great feeling in this shot! Strong emotion expressed by the girl and very original composition! Thanks Ralf! I will definitely check out your site this evening, after I get home from work. Why oh why do I have to got to work on a Sunday? ...oh that's right. It's called a job - for keeping a roof over one's families heads and feeding them!

Funny portrait. The blue color gives a very srange athmosphere, and the foutain enhance it. Seems like heaven...

Thanks Jice and Angie! She's a sweetie pie and heavenly in this particular photo, but can be a handful when she gets a bit devilish! (always loveable though)
