Headless Angel

September 8, 2007

The only explanation I can think of for the state of this winged statue above the grave of one Alice Kruge is that of vandalism. I cannot pretend to understand the kind of mindlessness that would lead to anyone desecrating someone's grave, but then again looking at history, people have done far worse I suppose.
Taken on a peaceful warm day with cloudless blue skies last month.

Even angels are in danger.

True zora, but I feel that surely that is how things have always been, a delicate balance between comfort and discomfort, sanity and madness, safety and danger, yin and yang? Perhaps I'm getting too philisophical tonight?
