Mum and the Gum Tree

Dad planted this gum tree around about the time I was born. Yes it's that old! It's grown quite a bit taller than I have however. Mum loves this tree, she joked recently that a falling limb from it will probably take her out one day and that would be fine by her. Personally I think both the tree and her will outlast everyone.

The tree is lovely and it could have been worse. Polo jumper does wonders!
