Little House I Used to Live In

February 27, 2008

I didn't really live here, it's just the title of an instrumental piece by Frank Zappa that I'm very fond of and it sprang to mind when I uploaded this image...
This house is just out from Daylesford, Victoria, in a place called Sailors Rest.
I am going to post only images captured on Polaroid film for a little while here, to highlight the potential end of an era.

polaroid stripesOn February 8, 2008 Polaroid Corporation announced that it will discontinue production of the instant film that made the company a household name. Save Polaroid serves as a home-base for the effort to convince another company to take over and begin producing the cherished technology that Polaroid has abandoned.Further to my previous post ~ Save Polaroid is a new website set up to promote the cause behind retaining the unique technology that lies behind Polaroid Instant Photography - watch this space! There is also the Save Polaroid Flickr Group and a 'digg this' save polaroid thang (see link below)!

Haa..I was just out in Daylesford a couple of weeks ago! Took some photos of places just like this, too.
This def. looks like it could have been taken years and years ago.
