Hide and Seek

April 17, 2007

This is from the first roll of my very first Diana (a Diana F that has a lightleak I still haven't managed to pin down, I think it may be as simple as coming from the frame counter window)
Taken at her Auntie's house it shows my eldest playing hide and seek with the camera. The idiosyncracies of this particular Diana's plastic lens seems to slightly blur exactly where her face is, yet the brickwork sems to remain sharp(ish).
Diana F with Fuji 160 NPC.

this instantly made me smile, cameron :-)

i think, over time, these crappy diana's are programmed to create new light leaks.

Heh, thanks Angie, yep I think you could be right there!
I'm glad this shot made you smile, it has that affect on me too. I'd like to think that before I die I can do my bit to increase the amount of smiles in the world by a significant factor.

Thanks Phil. Yes, memories are made of these type of captures, what scares me is how quickly they grow up...
Oh well, one must live for the moment(s)!
