Polaroid Fascination

August 18, 2007

This is a shot taken a while back showing my sister in law (at right) with one of our friends, admiring a (no doubt brilliant, ehem) Polaroid I took of the day's excitement. Not only does this shot illustrate the almost child-like fascination the development of integral Polaroids can still generate, even (or perhaps especially) in these "instant-preview" digital times, but it also shows that once again, I've taken more than one of my cameras to a party, as this was taken with my Colorflash. What a geek.

Camera: Colorflash Deluxe, Film: Can't remember (and am too lazy to check)

i agree. polaroids always fascinate people. i think taking two cameras to a party is no big deal. now if you had taken 10 it may require some therapy..:)

Wow..your sister-in-law really resembles your wife. At first glance, I thought it was her, with darker hair.

That's a sweet shot.

Anyway, what's wrong with being a geek?

:-D

and, all the while you're saying "don't touch it while it's developing!". nothing worse than a thumb print...
