Primitive Dalek

This is the front bits of a Diesel Shunter (don't look at me like that, I'm not being rude!) on the narrow gauge railway line that the Puffing Billy train runs on.
I think this composition made it all look a bit like a prototype villianous alien machine/entity-type thang from Doctor Who, but perhaps I'm just being silly, it's been known to happen from time to time.

color is great, as are all of the right angles broken up by the circular lines of the light and hose.

a very early prototype dalek i'd guess...long before they managed to work out stairs!! love the colours they had back then!
