Red X

March 29, 2007

Chapel Street/Church Street (one becomes the other depending on what Melbourne inner suburb you are in) is one of those roads that you can walk along and find some incredibly colourful and varied photographic subjects. From architecture from early last century to this modern building front, you just need to keep your eyes and mind open to the possibilities. This shot also demonstrated to me the slightly telescopic nature of this particular cameras lens as I was standing well back here and the whole "X" was fully within the viewfinder (even though plastic camera viewfinders are not to be believed)
