High Voltage Playground

June 30, 2007

This is the kind of randomly inspired weirdness that can develop when you are using a dodgy (some would say "magic") Polaroid camera that you bought through ebay.
This particular model of folding Polaroid camera, a SLR 680 has some sort of gremlin that every now and then causes an exposed shot to advance only halfway through the rollers. If you shoot again you get the next exposure to push the first one through. The upshot is that you get a half-frame double exposure on the first polaroid, and example of this can be seen above.
Bizarre...

Thanks all. William, yes the camera will focus, it just does these weird things every so often.

You do know how lucky you are that it misbehaves in this magical way, don't you? If not, send me the camera ;)
