Entropy, aging and decay is enevitable. One may as well accept this gracefully (or disgracefully in my case) I was reminded of these things (what I call the Ozymandias syndrome) the other day when I heard those fateful words "...for your age" in reference to me. I have noticed the last few months that my focusing ability was becoming problematic. I couldn't focus on close objects anymore and refocusing from near to far, especially at night, was really difficult. The jury is still out regarding if this has been a help or a hindrance in my toy camera photography!
Off to the optometrist for an eye test. It was an interesting process and reassured me that my eyesight wasn't failing as badly as I feared, but it was here that I heard those words: "Your eyesight is very good, for your age" Ah well, at least I feel better than the fellow above!
Camera: Holga with Polaroid back (accidental "B" setting). Film: Polaroid 84 packfilm.
Nice work with that Holgaroid Cameron....ah the old accidental B setting. I have to say my experiences with that have always yielded zilch! As for eyes...carrying glasses around with me all the time drives me nuts I have to say!
your eyes seem just fine to me, cam. don't listen to that doctor and his "for your age" garbage :-) nice work with the holgaroid! it's certainly something i'd love to own one day!
