Cafe Blur

August 13, 2007

Just for the hell of it, and because I like the colours of this abstracted mess, I am posting this image tonight. It is an extended exposure of my brother working in his cafe/bar Thangs. I cannot write anything more at the moment because it is 03:50HRS in the wee small ticky-tocky-time of the morning and I am effectively unconscious, yet still maintaining the semblance of being awake. (It's always like this for me on nightshift now)

Camera: Diana 151, Film: can't remember, probably Fuji NPC 160

Always like your photos from Thangs. -My Cameron and I should swing by there sometime.-
They always have a great mood and colours.
This one has a nice bright shimmery-glassy quality.
Looking at it again, it reminds me of some of those sculptures or walls with water running over glass. Pretty!

Thanks Angie and Amy! Amy, please do so, mention to Roger that you "know" me, even if it is in a virtual way! You'll see a couple of my prints hanging on the wall there too.

Now did you say the name of that cafe was Thangs or Thongs? I like the latter where all the staff wear them...more photos please. Can you tell I have been drinking?
