Toothpicks V.2

This is a different point of view of these thangs.

I took this shot with a new roll of film (as the original Toothpicks photo was the last on the Kodak Portra VC roll) The film used here was Fuji 160 NPC, so I was surprised at the saturated reds and blues of this image. I would have expected more muted colours than those of the VC capture (as VC stands for Vivid Colour. Perhaps I need to calibrate my monitor or scanner again. perhaps the lab did something weird. perhaps the fabric of reality is shifting in some weird quantum way...Perhaps I'm just an idiot...
