Two Palms and Amusement Park

September 23, 2007

This is another testament to the longevity of Kodak Verichrome Pan, 30 years out of expiry date. Taken near Luna Park this shot is from the roll of expired film I got in the box the Diana F camera I took the shot with came in.
Light leaks and vignetting courtesy of the camera, this roll developed fine. The only difference between the scan of this shot and the one of Milton is that I had the scanner set for colour negative, (for some absent minded reason) rather than monochrome, which accounts for the hue of the image, which I like anyway, as it gives the image produced by the old film an "old feel"
Oh btw, thanks to all my visitors, regular and not so regular and to whomever makes the choices for photoblogs.org's Hall of Fame, because the plastic lens made the grade this week! Yay! :-)>

Camera: Diana F (model 162) Film: Kodak Verichrome Pan (expired mid 1970's)

What a great result, it actually looks like it was taken before the time the film would have expired. Cool effect.

Beautiful results! I have developed 50 year verichrome pan found in a flea market camera and it turned out just about perfect. It's miracle stuff. (p.s. Congrats on the Hall of Fame!)
