One of my favourite Polaroids from a holiday away with the family last year. Whilst staying at the Sunshine Coast, we took the children to The Australia Zoo, owned and operated by the family of the late Steve Irwin (the Crocodile Hunter) It was quite impressive and we had a great time. My family lost me halfway through the day and the place was so big I didn't find them again until we met at the end of the day to catch the bus home! The kids had a wonderful time seeing and learning about many Australian animals as well as non-indigenous species such as the three gorgeous Elephants they have there. You even get a chance to feed the Elephants a couple of times during the day...
The children were a bit nervous, never having had such close encounters with such large, yet gentle creatures before, but they soon got over it, they did think they "ponged a bit" though!
I love Elephants.
Camera: Polaroid SLR 680 and expired 779 film.
