Rose

October 27, 2007

Here's a flower to apologise for my lack of updated images in the last few days. Taken using expired Polaroid Time Zero film utilising the close-up attachment for the SX-70 this rose is almost a homage to Georgia O'Keefe, perhaps. The Plastic Photo Show opened last night, good stuff, but the gallery is on the other side of Melbourne to where I live, also I've been caught up with a now resolved (sort of) bitter dispute between our state government (bloody politicians, boo, hiss!) and the state's nurses over patient ratios, fair pay etc. so I am a bit exhausted at the moment.
I hope everyone is well and productive!

Hi Cameron, I love this rose pic! Fantastic! What camera did you use for this one?

Congratulations on a plastic photo show.
Daring of the composition is wonderful.
If there is time, please watch susumu and the Diana diary.

Nice shot. The flower looks very soft, almost like ice cream.

The soft colors and textures of this rose are even more beautiful than Georgia O'Keeffe's flowers. I love how you coax gorgeous images out of your SX-70!

On the whole issue of the state vs. nurses, I am a huge supporter of nurses. I recently experienced firsthand the hard work and dedication nurses put forth every day. I only wish I could vote in the election!

Congrats on the show, would love to come and watch, but it's a bit too far from me ;-)
