Even though I haven’t blogged about it this year due to laziness, family commitments, study, work, life, the universe & everything (and the dog ate my homework) – we have had a world toy camera day (well it was a whole weekend) this year and I did manage to take a few Holga and Polaroid Colorpack shots. Most were taken on Sunday the 10th October and most were taken in one of my favourite spots (when I am on that side of town) underneath the freeway, just near the Flemington Rd entrance, heading out of Melbourne towards the airport and beyond.

Originally posted in early February 2007, this is a strange double exposure taken on WTCD (World Toy Camera Day) 2005. I was wandering around town with a fellow toy camera aficionado, Mike (hi Mike!) It was my first WTCD. Can you also tell it was the first time I had used the Holga? Anyway, I sort of like the surreal result of the merging of a Goth couple who kindly posed for us and a protester in Melbourne’s CBD.
